Course Design: CERT has independently designed an exclusive Disaster Site Medical Relief Training course, adopting international standards of Urban Search and Rescue (USAR).
 
Tier One Training: Predominantly aimed at volunteers and personnel directly involved in rescue work both in preparation for and during an emergency incident.
 
Tier Two Training: Predominantly aimed at personnel involved in the management of disaster site rescue teams both in preparation for and during an emergency incident. The course provides training suitable for personnel working in Emergency Operations Centres or Regional Coordination Centres.
 
Tier Three Training: Predominantly aimed at disaster site rescue management personnel, providing training suitable for national and regional China Disaster Emergency Management (CDEM) personnel.
 
Teaching Content: Practical skills-based training makes up 70% of the course, classroom teaching making up the remaining 30%. Course content is 67% medical training and 33% rescue training.

Course Design: Our various courses are suitable for a wide range of people in the workplace and beyond, particularly management, Health and Safety and security workers but also including the general public. The specialist courses we offer are highly relevant to industrial, mining, and public service utility organizations that are exposed to a higher risk of hazard. At the time of a major incident (earthquakes, fires, explosions, terrorist attacks, etc.), personnel who have received CERT's training are able to react in such a way as to minimize to the greatest possible extent any related damage, injuries and mortalities.
 
Course Content: Common disaster hazards and safety knowledge; Commonly encountered acute internal medical conditions and critical trauma; CPR and use of the AED (Basic Life Support); Accident Management knowledge (contingency plans, Emergency Response, Incident Management systems) and so on.
